Cineplex Pictures and Toho International are bringing the latest Godzilla movie to Canadian theatres this November. Godzilla Minus Zero follows the events of the 2023 film Minus One. The movie opens in Japan on November 3rd, marking a simultaneous release in North America.
Godzilla Minus Zero saw Takashi Yamazaki return as director and writer. It stars Ryunosuke Kamiki, Minami Hamabe, Min Tanaka and Hidetaka Yoshioka. Naoki Satō also returned to compose the score.
War reduced Japan to zero, and Godzilla plunged it into minus. Two years have passed since then, and the country has faced agonizing struggles to achieve recovery and finally reclaim its daily life.
Just as humanity managed to cling to a hard-won peace, a new threat strikes, crushing hope in an instant.
There is no third time. Everything ends here.
The film will open on November 6th. Preview screenings will be held from November 3rd. Godzilla Minus Zero will be showcased in Japanese with English subtitles. IMAX screenings are available. To purchase tickets, click here:
